How will the 2009 Recovery Act help me get the business funding I need?

The 2009 Recovery Act has allocated $730 million to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to assist business owners with starting, maintaining, and growing their companies. Some of these funds will be used to eliminate fees on SBA-backed loans, and raise the SBA guarantee to 90%. Raising the SBA guarantee will provide less risk for banks and business lenders; which will give them a better sense of security about lending to business owners.
